This is one of the most disturbing things I have ever heard.
Can you believe that? The mother smothered her own child after it was born and gets away with it because it was still attached to her via its umbilical cord. That is cold, calculating murder! How hard-hearted and cruel do you have to be to commit such a crime?

And, what is even worse ... is that the reason she gets away with it is because lawmakers refuse to touch a loophole in Virginia state law because it is too close to the abortion issue. In other words, they don't want PRO-CHOICE constituents giving them a hard time. They are more concerned about their political careers and their own comfort than doing what is right!

How hard would it have been to carry it to a hospital or fire station. So many families who can't have their own kids, looking for unwanted children to adopt.
You cannot kill an animal in that fashion and get off Scott free. Sad society when legal to kill your own children.
