To call this a "phony compromise" as pro-life Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) did is an understatement. What will certainly result from the Capps amendment is a huge check written from the government to the abortion clinics every month.
That was quoted from the Susan B. Anthony List. Pro-Life Democrats even recognize that abortion will be funded in the proposed healthcare reform. DFLA has already spoken out about it as well.

I saw your info on a website; I’m hoping you can help. My fiancé and are thinking of opening an anti abortion clinic to offer counseling and help to those who are considering abortion as an option. Our goal to provide full understanding of the decision to have an abortion and to provide knowledge and financial help to those who think abortion is an option. We want to make a difference and allow these women to see a bigger picture and help them understand the value of life and alternative choices by opening a non-profit anti-abortion clinic. We are in the beginning phase and are looking for help from other organizations to give us a better understanding as to where to get funding and resource to do so. I would advise talking to Pro-Life organizations and the churches in your area to see what is already out there.
