I don't know which is worse -- his comment or the Newsweek article. Both show a complete lack of biblical knowledge and stupidity on the part of the author.
Gay sex is a sin. It is an abomination to God. Why is it so hard for them to accept?
For the same reason it is hard for anyone who is called on the carpet for a specific sin to accept said calling. We want to get away with making out that our deviations from God's Word are somehow exempt - that our particular flavor of Christianity is the correct one.
You - as well as I - know this, but beware the trap being set here by popular culture (hence Satan).
