Let's say that I decide to write an article on Islam and what it advocates (or does not advocate). I go to a store and I purchase the Quran. But, instead of taking time to read it and study it, I decide to grab bits and pieces of it to write my article. People who have never read the Quran might buy my assertions and think my article rocks. People who have read and studied the Quran will know that I am a fraud and a fool.
Same with Lisa Miller and her Newsweek article ... except she used the Bible.

I can forgive her - she knows not what she speaks of - but there'll be some who buy into her drivel.
That is the worst drivel I have read in ages. She needs to remove her journalist nameplate from her desk and ask for a job at the Enquirer. It would suit her writing style much better.
I read that article yesterday. She is a real twit! The shame is I can remember when Newsweek was a "real" magazine.
