Hiatus

| 16 Comments | 2 TrackBacks

I am going on hiatus. I have been thinking about doing so for sometime now. I am getting kind of tired of having three different blogs and have been seriously considering combining all my blogs into ONE blog. Maybe this will be what I need to get that done. In the meantime I have moved all my posts into draft form. I will be spending the next few weeks going through them. Many of them will disappear permanently. Others will be reinstated.

See ya when I see ya ...

Update 12/25/05: Merry Christmas!!! I hope you have a joyous day. I am busy enjoying my hiatus. And, when I say "busy" I do mean busy. Oh and just for Becky: I cooked turkey (which was injected with real butter and spices), ham w/pineapple and cherries, chicken and dressing, brocolli and cheese casserole, sweet potato casserole, green beans w/potatoes, fried cabbage, mashed potatoes, corn, giblet gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce (didn't actually cook it), chess pie, pecan pie, and pumpkin pie. Pretty much the same meal that we had at Thanksgiving, minus a few side dishes. And, let me tell you ... it was delicious! The turkey was the best I ever made. I think everything turned out exceptionally well. :)

I wanted to remind everyone that with all the buzz about blog awards right now that nominations for the 2006 Evangelical Blog Awards are being taken. Don't forget to go on over and give it up for your favorite Evangelical blogs!

Speaking of awards, I wanted to mention that fellow Christian Bloggers, Pursuing Holiness and Jay Adkins, are up for Best Religious Blog at The 2005 Weblog Awards.

David from ISOU has been nominated again for Best Latino, Caribbean, or South American Blog! Diggers Realm and Random Fate are up for Best of the Top 501 - 1000 Blogs.

Also, Mind & Media is up for Best Business Blog! As you know, I am a reviewer for Mind & Media so I have a special interest in seeing it win. If you have enjoyed my reviews, please give it your vote! It is a really great site and deserves the win. :)

Lessons From The Lion

I got a heads up on this in email and thought I would share. I am sure there are a lot of parents that will be interested in this. :)

I have written Lessons from the Lion to provide children with a fun and engaging way to learn the Biblical truths that are embedded in Lewis' book. This workbook is full of both simple and thought-provoking questions to help young minds understand and apply some of the deeper meanings woven into Lewis' story. There are also various activities, such as a crossword puzzle and a word search, which will educate and entertain children as their imaginations become one with the story. My desire is to have parents read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with their children and then dive into my workbook together.
