I have been talking to God a lot of late and He keeps bringing me back to what Jesus said:
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. - Luke 6:27-29 NIV
Now, I need to write this on paper and post it around my house. I need to remind myself of this daily. I am sure most of us do.

Angel, this is a lesson that is so hard to learn. We reap what we sow, but it is difficult to sow kindness and forgiveness when we've been decimated by someone else. Which is precisely why I've had to let God forgive through me so many times my heart feels like one of those revolving doors. Maybe that's what God intended all along--that He be the filter.
Angel,
I think we all need to be reminded to love each other. God sure knows how much we need to be reminded, for the command to love is found painted all over the New Testament. Now if we could just get it right then we would be a little more like the people God created us to be.
Gina, I totally feel you on the revolving door. :) I have felt that way so many times.
Paul, that is so true! And, wouldn't it be great for God's children to be more like He created us to be? What a beautiful, glorious day that would be!
