I was going through my referral stats today, as that is how I find so many good blogs to read, and came upon a URL that made me think I needed to check it out. So, I go over to the site, to the page that had a link to me, and get the biggest kick!
Come to find out, someone decided to nominate my blog for the Best Liberal Blog on the 2004 Weblog Awards! I about fell out! I was like, "Wow! Someone really likes my blog. Cool!" I am like totally trippin' ... totally.
I am flattered. Really. It made me smile big time.
I am not a competitive person and never really been into award thingies and whatnot. I don't even really consider my blog a "Liberal" blog. I have never nominated myself for stuff like this and pretty much ignore that it is going on, but this is kinda neat. It made me realize what those actors and actresses mean when they say that the nomination is everything. So thanks for the nomination. I seriously doubt I will make it to the finals considering the nature of my blog, but I appreciate the nomination regardless. :)
You the bomb. And if you treat me real nice, I will tell you who nominated you for sexiest blogger.

Thanks, Donna and Sis. :) Though, I doubt my blog is going to even make it to the finals. I told David on his blog I think I rattle too many feathers with my blunt way of saying things and I have a lot of personal posts. My blog has never been a purely political blog.
You never know. The way I see it, it will be a Mega Blog like Oliver or Hullabaloo or someone like that, or it will be a fresh face. You are well connected, you have a good chance.
