Friday Jams #6

I had a nice little playlist for you today. It was one that I really thought you would enjoy too. But, it looks like I am going to have to put it on the backburner for a minute. See ... I have been challenged. In truth, I have been dared. It is the second dare in a week I have received, though the first time ... I talked my way out of it. This time, I cannot.

My husband, the love of my life, has dared me to play my favorite road trip music for you. The songs I play when I am driving long distances; the songs I also play whenever I am sad and need a pick me up. I tried to bargain out of it ... even offered to dedicate my favorite love songs to him and be real sappy ... but, no. I have to play this selection.

So, I am gritting my teeth and am going to let you see a side of me that most of you, save only a few, have ever seen. I am also to let you know that I not only play these songs, but I also sing them very loudly. I get into them. I dance, I sing, I clown ... I make a total fool of myself. Something happens when I listen to them.

It ain't pretty. :P
