Out Of The Mouth Of Shorty

| 2 Comments | 1 TrackBack

So, I am talking to Donna on the phone, while I am helping LM with the truck. We are chatting away when the local ice cream truck comes through playing it's little tune, Do Your Ears Hang Low? Donna immediately recognizes it and starts singing the words along with the tune. My middle child also starts singing it as well and Donna and I rolled!

Do your boobs hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them o'er your shoulder
Like a Continental Soldier?
Do your boobs hang low?

Do your boobs hang high?
Do they reach up to the sky?
Do they wrinkle when they're wet?
Do they straighten when they're dry?
Can you wave them at your neighbor
With an element of flavor?
Do your boobs hang high?

Just in case you never look over there ... I have added a wishlist. Yep, I figured it was time for me to start pimping for gifts just like everyone else. So, if you really, really love me or can't stand me and just want to shut me up ... take a peek at the things I am wanting and give a little.

It is good for the heart. :)

Now, of course, Donna is exempt for now as she totally rocks and is sending me Roots. Yeah, baby ... I was like her one trillion commenter, or something like that, and she rewarded me for being a yappy little wench. I told LM that it would pay off one day, but he didn't believe me. :P

Happy 9th Birthday

| 3 Comments | No TrackBacks

My middle child is nine years old today!!! Oh, my baby is growing up and someone needs to help me make it stop. There has to be some drug, formula, potion ... or something to make her quit growing older so I can keep her young longer.

Happy Birthday, Baby!

I got this one from Donna. Interestingly enough, I am a Gemini. :)

Love Life Meme

Okay, David ... you win and here ya go:

First Love?

My first love asked me to marry him when I was three years old. We were sitting on my Grandmother's porch swing. He presented me with a little silver ring, with a pink jewel, that he had gotten out of one of those machines. I punched him in the face and ran to my Daddy. We married 13 years later.

Most Memorable Date?

Was spent in a cabin at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. It was so much fun! We cooked, danced, and had a wondeful time together.

Most Scandalous Moment?

Too scandalous to share here. ;)

Funniest Date?

I went to a casino boat with a guy I was dating and cracked up laughing when he realized he had won over $200 dollars, but had already blew three-fourths of it because he hadn't bothered to count it! His facial expression was priceless. LOL

Sexiest Date?

Riding a Harley under the stars with my husband, talking about everything and anything, sitting by the edge of Kentucky Lake talking about our dreams and aspirations ... then making love on the beach.

Longest Date?

I flew to LA and we vacationed for almost a week there. I had a great time and ate food I had never even seen before ... but the coolest part was eating at a place called Mississippi Soul Food and hanging out on Hollywood Boulevard.

Worst Date?

After being repeatedly pursued by this guy that worked at the grocery store, I finally agreed to go out with him. He took me to the movies. I don't remember what movie we saw, but I do remember him talking loudly through the whole thing and more than half of the theater hushing him.

Greatest Love?

I have a feeling that I am experiencing it right now with my husband.

Wildest Experience?

Too spicy to share in polite company! ;)

Most Passionate Memory?

A weekend spent in North Carolina with the man from the "Most Memorable Date" category. It was beyond anything I would have ever imagined and I came home in love.

Most Embarrassing Date?

Once again, I am not telling it here. But, believe me, it was embarrassing!

Family Tree

Wow! I have had a few hectic days around here. It seems like I am always busy and on the move ... even when I am just chilling at the house. I am going to write later about the 4th of July, but for now it is going to be about my new hobby.

One of the main things that has been keeping me occupied is tracing my family tree. It is so much fun and I am enjoying it immensely. I have a feeling I have a full scale new hobby on my hands. I have been using a lot of resources online, but I have also been working on finding more concrete resources as well. Yesterday, while visiting my Aunt Dorothy, I took pictures of family tombstones, looked through photo albums, copied newspaper clippings, and stuff like that. I really enjoyed myself too and found out so many interesting things about the history of my family.

Happy Birthday, Daddy

If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane,
I'd climb those stairs to Heaven
and bring you home again.

Note: I saw this on a headstone recently and I have no clue who wrote it, but it definitely says it for me.
