I am a terrorist. Did you know that?
I did not personally know that. I just found out today while reading a news article on the San Francisco Chronicle's website.
"Attempts to suppress protesters become more disturbing in light of the Homeland Security Department's recommendation that local police departments view critics of the war on terrorism as potential terrorists. In a May terrorist advisory, the Homeland Security Department warned local law enforcement agencies to keep an eye on anyone who "expressed dislike of attitudes and decisions of the U.S. government." If police vigorously followed this advice, millions of Americans could be added to the official lists of suspected terrorists."
When I went to bed last night, I went to sleep in America. You know that country known as the land of the free and home of the brave? The one that has a constitution that allows me, you, and the little Chinese man down the street ... free speech? Yeah, I thought you would recognize that place.
Well, it no longer exists. We are living in Russia now ... and the Homeland Security Department, in cohorts with the Secret Service, are now the KGB!
Who would have thunk it?
Did you know that you cannot protest the war nor voice your opinion of President Bush except in "free speech zones" that are placed far from where the president will speak or visit? Did you know that during such protests that you are not allowed to speak to the media nor are they allowed to speak to you? And did you know that if you invoke your constitutional rights that you will be arrested?
Bush, wake up, AMERICA IS A FREE SPEECH ZONE!!!!!
And, David, thought that ads about Bush using images of Hitler were going too far. I don't know anymore, David. It looks fascism could be just around the corner at the rate Bush is going. And, you will feel the same way too when you, me, Donna, and everyone else that is not falling all over ourselves about Bush are considered terrorists. Goodness, this makes me want to show up at Bush's next speech and get arrested on purpose ... with a big sign stating: "Bush is a Wiener!"
Now that would make for an interesting headline. :)

This is the stuff I've been griping about since 9/11.
This country scares me now. I never thought I could be so afraid of the place I live. And now they're gonna fingerprint all visitors to the US. What is up with that?

No, I am not just figuring all of it out ... but I did not know about him trampling on our right to free speech now and saying that if we don't agree with the war on Iraq that we are now terrorists too. That just blows my mind!
Do the three of us count as a terrorist cell?

I have room here for a camp, but with the kids and all, I dont know how much training we would get done LOL!
