Today was another good day. We went to Fulton to see LM's sister V and her children. My nieces, C & K, also went with us. LM and I took a walk to a local pond and enjoyed how nice the day was. It was pretty today, that is for sure. We really enjoyed our time together too.

I also got some of my favorite chicken gizzards while we were there! Oh, how I love them. Normally, I only do if I cook them myself, but there is a place there in town that sells them and they are delicious! I ate three orders throughout the day! *LOL*

I also realized today that I cannot fit into my jeans that I could fit into just one week ago!!!!! It is way too early for me to be expanding in the waist already. LM thinks it is funny as he believes any baby from him will not only be born early, but be born fully developed as his babies somehow have a supernatural ability to do such things! *LOL* But, this is also a man that is trying to curse me with triplet boys as well. I will SOOOO hurt that man if he jinxs me like that!

Well, I am out of here for tonight ... I have to be up bright and early in the morning as school starts back this week.

Today was a good day. :)

I have a huge kitchen mess to clean up though. I cooked ham with brown sugar and pineapple, broccoli and cheese casserole, corn, and homemade rolls for dinner tonight. That meal fed: LM, me, all three of my daughters, their friend H, my nieces K and C, and my brother and his wife. So, I have a lot to clean up!

Well, I have finally proven what I have been telling LM all along! LOL! I am the:

Well, it is officially the day after Thanksgiving ... has been for three hours. I have been home since 11 PM. I left about 1 PM this afternoon and went to my sister's house for dinner. It was pretty good.

After dinner, my sister and I went to rent movies. We rented five of them, but I only stayed for two. One was "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days," which I have seen before but love. That movie is so hilarious! Matthew M. is gorgeous and has a smile that would melt any woman. I also watched X-Men II ... which I have been dying to see! I loved it! It was so the bomb!

I am a big X-Men fan! Rogue is my nickname namesake in part. In part because I am also somewhat of a rogue ... unconventional and such. But, I do love her character. I also adore Wolverine. The character is awesome! And the dude that plays him is fine as wine. Love that bod too. Halle Berry is wonderful as Storm as well. They also had Night Crawler in this one and the makeup was amazing.

Well, I am off to bed ... I should have been hours ago. The kids stayed at my sister's house to watch the rest of the movies and I have to go get them tomorrow. My nephew, D, and niece, C, want to go as well.

I can definitely say that for this Thanksgiving I am grateful for my family. And, sleep. I am too whooped to stay awake any longer! Night!

More soldiers were needlessly killed in Iraq today.

I tell you one thing ... I cannot respect a leader that has less of an IQ than my slippers. I was going to say my cat, but that would just totally disrespect and humiliate poor Jasper. Bush could learn a thing or two from my cat, that is for sure. Unfortunately, intelligence is not one of them. Not that my cat is not intelligent ... he is. Bush's terminal case of stupidity is just incurable.

And before I head off to the land of nod, I must comment on Michael Jackson. It is sad, so very sad. Do I think the man is a pedophile? I think it is quite possible and most likely. Is it also possible that this could be just an attempt to get rich by this kids' folks? Sure. It is possible. I cannot wait to see if there will be a civil suit this time around. I know one thing for sure ... I would not sell my child's innocence ... not even for 20 million dollars. Not even for four times that. Money is nice, but not so nice that I would prostitute one of my children for it.

To me, that is what that case 10 years ago equaled. If Michael Jackson did molest that boy ... he paid a handsome fee for the service. What kind of parent(s) would take money for something like that???

Ugh.

I have been working so hard trying to get this site together! I feel like I am going to lose my mind trying to get the right layout, the right look ... but I think it is getting there. :)
